This rail is 150cm long in white color and has a groove width of 15mm. You can connect these rails to each other using additional fittings.
Installation:
The rail comes with 3 screws and the corresponding plugs. On one side, you can connect the rail to a cable, and this connection is neatly concealed by means of an end cap.
Rail lighting is a very easy and flexible system. It allows for unlimited addition of lighting, and moreover, it is almost always adjustable. We distinguish between 1-phase and 3-phase rail lighting. For a 1-phase rail, a 1-phase rail spot is used, and for a 3-phase rail, a 3-phase rail spot is recommended.
In a 1-phase rail system (also called a monophase system), all rail spots are controlled on a single circuit. A circuit refers to the number of rail spots that you can illuminate with a single switch. To use a 1-phase rail system, your power supply can be either monophasic or triphasic. For example, if you have 3 x 380 V, you can use a 1-phase rail, but you will use only 1 circuit. Conversely, in a monophasic network (for example, 1 x 230 V), you can use a 3-phase rail. In this case, you connect L1, L2, and L3 together.
In a 3-phase rail system, you have the option to have 3 circuits burn separately. This can be useful when you want to have some spots on the same rail lit with one switch and the others with one or two other switches. For instance, if you have a retail space and want to have basic lighting on in the evening after closing hours, you can illuminate a limited number of spots on the rail. However, you can also solve this problem by placing all the spots you want to keep continuously lit on a 1-phase rail.
