LED Downlighter 18W IP54 White Square Built-in driver

This downlight has a power of 18W and gives 1600 lumens. The housing is white and made of polycarbonate and plastic. You use this downlight for bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices and shops. You recess a downlight into the ceiling, so that only the sleek rim remains visible. For general lighting you place downlights in a regular grid; as a rule of thumb, keep about 1 to 1.5 metres between the spots at a normal ceiling height.

Installation and operation

This model is recessed, in a plasterboard ceiling or suspended ceiling. The cut-out size is 145 × 145 mm.

Connection: what do you need?

The driver is built in: you connect the fitting directly to 230V and do not need a separate power supply or transformer. Have the connection to the mains carried out by a qualified electrician. The fitting has protection class II (double insulated), so an earth connection is not needed.

Light and technology

With this product you choose the light colour yourself: 3000K or 6000K. Warm white (around 3000K) gives an atmospheric, homely look; neutral white (4000K) is bright and natural; cool white (6000K) is fresh and businesslike. The beam angle is 110 degrees, a wide light distribution that lights the room evenly. The colour rendering is CRI 80. The fitting is not dimmable. With IP54 it is dustproof and splash-proof, suitable for bathrooms, kitchens and covered outdoor areas. The impact resistance is IK06. The lifetime is approximately 17,000 burning hours.
