LED recessed downlights for every space

LED recessed downlights are a stylish and energy-efficient solution for illuminating homes, shops, offices, hospitality and other indoor spaces. Because the spots are integrated into the ceiling, they create a clean and understated finish. LED spots can be used as general lighting, but are also very suitable for directing light at specific parts of a room.

Round, square and adjustable LED recessed downlights

At Dimay you will find LED recessed downlights in various shapes, sizes and versions. You can choose from round and square models and from fixed or adjustable spots. With an adjustable recessed spot you can aim the light beam precisely, for example at a worktop, product display, wall or other element of the interior.

LED recessed downlights with integrated LED or GU10

Depending on the intended application you can choose a complete recessed downlight with integrated LED lighting or a fixture with a GU10 fitting. A GU10 recessed spot gives you the freedom to choose a suitable LED lamp yourself and to replace it easily later. With integrated LED recessed downlights the light source and the fixture form a single unit.

Recessed downlights for residential and professional use

LED recessed downlights are suitable for a wide range of applications. In homes they are often used in living rooms, kitchens, hallways and bedrooms. For shops, showrooms, offices and hospitality, recessed downlights are a practical solution for both general lighting and accent lighting. Also pay attention to the IP rating when selecting lighting for a space where moisture may be a factor.

Frequently asked questions about LED recessed spotlights

Integrated LED or GU10 recessed spotlight?

A GU10 fitting gives you freedom in choosing the lamp, and the lamp can be replaced separately. A spotlight with integrated LED is often more compact and needs less installation depth.

How many recessed spotlights do I need?

As a rule of thumb, place spotlights for general lighting about 1 to 1.5 metres apart. Use more spotlights in kitchens and work areas.

Can I use recessed spotlights in the bathroom?

Yes, as long as you choose a spotlight with an IP rating that suits the zone, for example IP44 or higher above the shower.
