GU10 surface-mounted spotlights

GU10 surface-mounted spotlights are fixed directly to the ceiling or wall; no recess depth is needed. That makes them ideal for concrete ceilings, renovations and rooms where you do not want to cut holes. The spots are supplied without a light source, so you choose a GU10 LED lamp with the wattage and colour temperature you need.

Round, square, single or double

Choose from round, square and rectangular versions in white or black, with one or two light points. Tiltable surface-mounted spots aim the light exactly at a worktop, a wall, a painting or products in a shop; fixed versions give calm, even light downwards. The dimensions are listed with every product, so you can see in advance how far the spot projects from the ceiling.

The right GU10 lamp and number of spots

A 5 to 7 watt GU10 LED lamp gives about 400 to 600 lumens. Choose 2700 or 3000 kelvin for living areas and 4000 kelvin for kitchens, workplaces and shops; if you want to dim, choose a dimmable lamp with a suitable LED dimmer. Is the lamp included with the GU10 surface-mounted spotlight?

No, the GU10 surface-mounted spotlights are supplied without a light source; you choose a GU10 LED lamp yourself.

What is the difference between a surface-mounted and a recessed spotlight?

A surface-mounted spot is screwed onto the ceiling and needs no installation depth; a recessed spot is fitted into a hole cut in the ceiling.

Can I mount a GU10 surface-mounted spotlight on the wall?

Yes, most surface-mounted spots can be mounted on the ceiling or on the wall; tiltable models are then aimed in the direction you want.
