LED strip power supply/driver 24 V – 60 W – 2.5 A – IP67

This LED power supply converts 230V mains voltage to 24V DC and supplies a maximum of 60 watts (2.5 amps). You use it for 24V LED strips and other 24V LED lighting. The IP67 version is fully waterproof and suitable for outdoors, bathrooms and damp rooms.

Which power do I need?

Add up the power of all connected 24V lighting and choose a power supply with about 20% reserve. With this 60W power supply you can therefore connect up to about 50 watts of LED lighting. Example: with this power supply, a strip of 10 watts per metre can be up to about 5 metres long. Please note: a 24V power supply only goes with 24V lighting. Have the connection to the mains carried out by a qualified electrician.

Is this power supply dimmable?

No, this is an ordinary constant voltage power supply. To dim, use an LED controller or dimmer between power supply and strip.

Can I use a larger power supply than needed?

Yes. A power supply only delivers the power the lighting demands; a larger power supply is no problem.
