LED Floodlight 240W – 40,800 Lumen – 4000K / 5000K – Asymmetric P45 – IP66

This powerful LED floodlight of 240W delivers 40,800 lumens with an efficiency of 170 lumens per watt. You use it to light sports fields, business premises, car parks, harbours, construction sites and façades. It replaces old halogen and metal halide floodlights and uses a fraction of the energy.

Light colour and light distribution

With this product you choose the light colour yourself: 4000K neutral white or 5000K daylight white. 4000K is a bright and pleasant working light in which colours look natural, the most popular light colour for workspaces; 5000K is a fresh and bright light that increases contrast and works well where accurate vision and alertness are important. The asymmetric P45 optic directs the light diagonally forward. You mount the floodlight almost horizontally at the edge of a site or sports field, and yet the light reaches the surface far and evenly. Little stray light goes backwards and into the sky, which limits glare for local residents and road users. The colour rendering is higher than CRI 70.

Housing and installation

The flat aluminium housing dissipates heat well and is dustproof and waterproof according to IP66, so the floodlight works reliably even in rain, wind and frost. With the adjustable bracket you mount the floodlight on a pole, façade or beam and aim it exactly where you want the light. The floodlight is supplied with a connection cable of 0.8 metres. Have the electrical connection carried out by a qualified electrician.

Driver

The driver is built in and is therefore simply included. You don't need to order a separate driver or power supply: you connect the fitting directly to the 230V mains. This version contains a branded driver. This version is not dimmable; you switch it with an ordinary switch, a time switch, a twilight switch or a motion detector.

Frequently asked questions

Is the driver included?

Yes. The driver is built in; you connect the floodlight directly to 230V.

What is the advantage of an asymmetric optic?

You hardly need to tilt the floodlight. The light still reaches far forward, while little light escapes upwards and backwards. That means less glare and less light pollution.

Which beam should I choose?

For a wide area close by choose the wide beam of 120×150°, for a site or field lit from the edge an asymmetric optic, and for long distances the narrow beam of 25°.
