3CCT means that an LED lamp or luminaire has three selectable colour temperatures, usually 3000 K (warm white), 4000 K (neutral white) and 6000 K (daylight). CCT stands for Correlated Colour Temperature, the light colour in Kelvin. You select the desired colour with a small switch on the luminaire, a remote control or by briefly switching the light switch off and on.

Benefits of 3CCT
- One product, three colour temperatures: you choose during installation which colour suits best.
- Always the same colour temperature in a room: handy if you buy additional luminaires later.
- Less stock needed: ideal for installers and projects.
How do you set the colour temperature?
| Method | How it works |
|---|---|
| Switch on the luminaire | set in advance, before installation |
| Light switch (on-off) | each quick off-on changes the colour |
| Remote control or app | change at any time, sometimes continuously (tunable white) |
Which setting should you choose?
3000 K for living room, bedroom and hospitality; 4000 K for kitchen, office and school; 6000 K for garage, workshop and warehouse. Read more in which colour temperature you need.
3CCT or tunable white?
With 3CCT you choose from three fixed settings. With tunable white you adjust the colour temperature continuously, often via an app or remote control. Take a look at our LED ceiling lights, surface-mounted spotlights and LED panels with CCT.
