Festoon light string 5 metres with 10× E27 sockets – IP44 – black – without bulbs

What is it? A black 5-metre light string with 10 sockets for bulbs with an E27 base. Ideal for atmospheric lighting on the terrace, in the garden, under a canopy or at a party.

What's included? No bulbs are included. In each socket you screw an E27 bulb of your choice, for example coloured LED bulbs for a festive effect or warm white filament bulbs for a cosy atmosphere. The string is dimmable when you use dimmable LED bulbs and a suitable dimmer.

What else do you need? You need 10 E27 bulbs. Preferably choose low-wattage LED bulbs; they do not get hot and use little power. You will find suitable E27 LED bulbs below under the matching products. Want to order the string with bulbs straight away? Choose the option with 10 mosquito lamps (5 W) above; no bulbs are included as standard.

Where can you use it? With protection rating IP44 the string is splash-proof and suitable for indoor and outdoor use, for example under a veranda, along a fence or between trees. The operating temperature is between -20 and +40 °C.

Installation. The string is hung, for example from hooks or a tension wire. It runs on 230V and is protection class II (double insulated), so no earth connection is required. Outdoors, use a splash-proof outdoor socket.

How many do you need? One string spans 5 metres. For a terrace of 4 × 5 metres you might use two to three strings, parallel or in a zigzag.

Warranty and service. You get a 2-year warranty. Do you have a question about this product? Email us at info@dimay.com.
