If you are replacing a halogen lamp, check whether the existing transformer is suitable for LED: old halogen transformers often have a minimum load that an economical LED lamp does not reach, which can make the lamp flicker. In that case, choose a 12V LED driver or LED transformer. This lamp is not dimmable.
