LED Panel Surface Mount Frame 620x620x43 White

With this surface mounting frame of 62x62 cm you mount an LED panel directly against a solid ceiling of concrete, wood or plasterboard, without a suspended ceiling. You screw the frame to the ceiling and place the panel in it, creating a sleek surface-mounted light.

The frame is 43 mm high and is assembled with plastic clips. It is intended for thin edge-lit panels of 620 x 620 mm, such as our panels of 9 to 15 mm thick. Please note: for backlit panels of 28 to 30 mm thick this frame is too low; choose the 58 mm surface mounting frame for those.

Which frame should I choose?

If you have a suspended ceiling, you don't need a frame: the panel simply sits in the grid. You use a surface mounting frame on a solid ceiling of concrete, wood or plasterboard if you don't want to cut into the ceiling. With a recessed frame, on the other hand, you build the panel flush into a plasterboard ceiling. With a surface mounting frame, pay attention to the thickness of your panel: thin edge-lit panels of 9 to 15 mm fit frames of 43 and 58 mm, backlit panels of 28 to 30 mm only a frame of 58 mm.
