This 12V LED strip has a power of 7.0 watts per metre. You use the strip for indirect lighting in ceilings, cabinets, kitchens, stairs, niches and behind furniture. You order this strip per metre; several metres are supplied in one piece from the roll (roll of 20 metres).
Important: this strip does not work on 230V
The strip runs on 12V DC and must never be connected directly to a socket or to 230V. You always need a 12V LED power supply, which you order separately. That power supply is not included. This is how to calculate which power supply you need: multiply the power per metre (7.0 W) by the number of metres and choose a power supply with about 20% more power. Example: 5 metres × 7.0 W = 35 W, so a power supply of at least 42 W. Indoors use a power supply of IP20, and in damp rooms or outdoors a waterproof power supply of IP67.
What else do you need?
To connect and extend the strip there are click connectors: a strip-to-strip connector to couple two pieces directly, a connector with cable to bridge a corner or distance, and a connector with cable to the power supply. When choosing, pay attention to the width and type of strip. If you want to dim the strip, use a suitable LED dimmer or controller for 12V. For a neat finish and better cooling, preferably stick the strip in an aluminium LED profile with cover. The strip has a self-adhesive back and can be cut to size at the marked cutting points.
Technical specifications

Frequently asked questions
Can I connect the strip directly to 230V?
No. The strip runs on 12V and always needs a 12V LED power supply.
How long can one piece of strip be?
For an even light output, preferably feed long pieces at both ends or in the middle. If in doubt, please contact us.
Can I mix 12V and 24V strips?
No. A 12V strip goes with a 12V power supply and a 24V strip with a 24V power supply.
