Waterproof cable connector IP68 – straight – for 3×0.5–2.5 mm² cable – black

What is it? A straight, waterproof cable connector ("I" type) made of black nylon. It lets you join two lengths of three-core cable safely and watertight, for example to extend the cable of a garden light, ground spot or outdoor wall light.

What's included? You receive one cable connector with terminals for three cores (live, neutral and earth). It is suitable for cores of 0.5 to 2.5 mm², 250 V and a current of up to 10 A. Thanks to the quick-click system you close the housing quickly and firmly.

What else do you need? Only the two cable ends you want to join and a tool to strip the cable.

Where can you use it? With protection rating IP68 the connector is dust-tight and resistant to immersion in water. This makes it suitable for outdoor use, in the garden and in wet places. The operating temperature is between -20 and +40 °C.

Installation. The connector measures 87 × 25.5 mm. Strip the cables, connect the cores to the terminals and click the housing shut. Have work on the mains carried out by a qualified electrician.
