LED globe pendant lamp for track 10W K3000/K4000 48V Black

This pendant lamp of 10W delivers 800 lumens and is made for the 48V magnetic 48V-track system. The housing is black. The fitting hangs from a cable below the track and gives atmospheric light above a table, bar or counter. You use it in homes, shops, showrooms, hospitality and offices where you want to be able to adapt the lighting flexibly.

How the system works

The 48V-track system runs on a safe low voltage of 48 volts DC. You click the fittings into the track with one movement, and you can then move, turn or swap them without tools. The track itself is the live line: the light gets its power via the track, not via its own plug or cord. Please note: you do not connect this fitting directly to 230V. It only works in a 48V-track fed by a 48V driver. The connector on the fitting is the click connection with the track, not a mains connection.

What do you need to make it complete?

To make this fitting light up you need a complete installation. That means at least three components. First, a 48V-track (1, 2 or 3 metres, in the same black colour as the fitting). Second, a power supply: the handiest choice is the internal driver 150W, which you slide into the track and which your electrician connects to 230V. One internal driver powers a maximum of 150 watts of fittings, so add up the power of all lamps on the track. Third, end caps to neatly close the ends of the track. If you want to link several tracks, you use a mechanical coupling plate and an electrical straight connector per joint, and an L-corner connector for a corner. You suspend it with the pendant kit of 2 metres, and for recessing in a ceiling there is a recessed kit. You will find all these components below under the matching products.

Light and technology

With this product you choose the light colour yourself: 3000K or 4000K. Warm white (around 3000K) gives an atmospheric, homely look; neutral white (4000K) is bright and natural; cool white (6000K) is fresh and businesslike. The beam angle is 120 degrees, a wide beam for general lighting. The colour rendering is CRI 80. This version is not dimmable. The dimensions are 90 mm.

Frequently asked questions

Can I connect this fitting directly to a socket or to 230V?

No. The fitting runs on 48V and gets its power via the track. You need a track and a 48V driver; you slide the internal driver of 150W into the track and the electrician connects it to 230V.

How many fittings can I connect to one driver?

Add up the power of all fittings. With the internal driver of 150W the total may be a maximum of 150 watts; if you need more, you install a second driver.

Does this fitting also fit the NANO track?

No. 48V and NANO are two separate systems with a different track size.
